I (Frankie) think I'm going to have to take my scale back. I think I bought the one that only goes down to a certain number because it's been stuck at that same number for over a week now. I'm still eating healthy and working out every day, so it has to be the scale, right?
I've hit a plateau, guys. I know anyone that has ever tried to get in shape has been where I'm at right now. It sucks. It sucks bigly! But, it happens. So, what do you do? What do I do? Keep on keeping on. That's all you can do. Make a couple of adjustments. Maybe workout an extra 10 minutes, walk an extra 1/2 mile, cut out 100 calories (or you may have to increase calories, but that's another blog) and just give it time.
Stick with the process and it will eventually work. Be consistent. Constancy is your best friend when you are trying to reach any fitness/health goals. Great things take time and you may have to make a few adjustments along the way, but if you just stay true to your goals, you will finally reach them.
Maybe I'll hold onto my scales for a couple more weeks after all because, you know, #HealthMatters.
Tell us what you do when you reach a plateau. We'll take all the advice we can get.
Frankie and Andrea take turns sharing stories. Just good talk over a cup of coffee.
