I (Frankie) really don't mean to be a Debbie Downer here, but for me, shopping for Christmas gifts, or birthday gifts, or any gift for that matter, sucks. Let me give you the short list of the reasons why:
Those are just a few of the reasons why I hate gift shopping. And then guess what? The day of the giving of the gift comes and they open it and they are so pleased with it and all my reasons for hating shopping for gifts no longer matter. I know this is going to happen. I have amazing people in my life who are overjoyed with anything you give them. I don't know why I stress myself out over it so much, but I do. And in the end it's all for nothing because my family and friends all truly know that it's not the gift itsef that is important, but the love behind that gift.
On this Thursday before Christmas let me leave you with one of my favorite Christmas quotes:
He puzzled and puzzled till his puzzler was sore. Then the Grinch thought of something he hadn't before. Maybe Christmas, he thought... doesn't come from a store. Maybe Christmas, perhaps... means a little bit more!
We here at Coffee Talk Consulting wish you the most Merry Christmas!
Frankie and Andrea take turns sharing stories. Just good talk over a cup of coffee.
