Right before school started, I (Andrea) got smart. I decided I was going to prep a ton of breakfast for my son so that it's ready and available each school morning. Now, this isn't anything earth-shattering. There are so many great and amazing websites out there that talk about meal prep, among other things. But it's really an important #tipoftheday. Be Prepared. Especially when you're working from home and have a lot of distractions about you.
Think ahead, know what you need to have done, and be ready for it. Having a ton of breakfast sandwiches ready to go in the freezer saved my mornings from being hectic. It gave me an extra ten minutes, and it gave my son a tasty meal (which he loves) to start the day. Think about how much time you would save in other aspects of your daily life if you were just prepared - even a little. Wouldn't it be great to claim an hour or two hours of sanity each day? Go forth, and be prepared |
